The crystallizer in the continuous casting unit is a bottomless steel ingot mould of forced water cooling, which is usually called the “heart” of continuous casting equipment and is mainly used to make the molten steel gradually solidified into the slab shell of required size and shape and ensure uniform, stable and continuous generation of the slab shell.
